
The CE4100 development platform is a developer hardware system that comes with essential tools needed to test and validate IPTV/hybrid set top boxes and connected audio/video product applications in full 1080P resolution.
The platform is a small-form factor box
and is based on the Intel Atom processor CE4100 with
a 1.2GHz CPU, 400MHz 2D/3D graphics
media accelerator and 1GB of DDRIII SDRAM. The development system kit
includes the hardware platform, a power supply with power cable (100-240
VAC, 50/60 Hz), a 31-button IR remote control, two HDMI cables, an audio
cable (L/R RCA), and Quick Start Guide documentation.
There will be two models available. One is a baseline connected audio/video (CAV) device that includes the Intel® SDK and Linux distribution. The second is a Blu-ray Disc (BD) technology-based evaluation device that, in addition to the Intel SDK and Linux distribution, also includes a BD loader and Videon’s BD/ DVD player software solution.
As an Intel® CEN member, Videon
has an abundance of CE4100 processor-based system level and software
knowledge and expertise. Videon will provide technical support for both
the hardware and software components and is available for value-added
services such as engineering design and customization work.
