Searching for something unique?  Videon is seeking an outstanding candidate ready to be a key player in a multi-million dollar business revolutionizing the digital video industry. We need a quarterback for our Finance department - a strong candidate with a manufacturing background and applicable experience to support Videon’s team in the interpretation and utilization of financial information that will be used to increase enterprise efficiency.

As a key contributor to the overall success of the organization, you must be a critical thinker with strong analytical skills; able to develop tactical and strategic business solutions; possess a high level of operational awareness; and be able to communicate and interpret complicated and detailed information with speed and accuracy. You will be responsible for oversight, extending, establishing and maintaining Videon’s corporate financial systems, and will develop, institute and maintain financial processes and controls that support the entire enterprise within a GAAP framework.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide sound fiscal analyses and financial reports.
  • Plan cash flow and manage to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments.
  • Oversee daily operations of financial resources and staff.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures.
  • Ensure business and ethical standards are closely adhered to and appropriate controls are administered.
  • Actively participate in financial ad hoc projects.

Qualified candidates must have a demonstrable history of career growth and taking on new challenges, a degree in Accounting or Finance with 10 years experience in a comparable position, and knowledge of AccPAC or similar ERP system and business intelligence systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital. Must be willing to relocate to central Pennsylvania.

Internships

     Software Internship
Support an exceptional team of software engineers with embedded software design, support and debug. Experience in C/C is a must. Real-time programming experience and experience with Linux is preferred, but not necessary. You will work with a team responsible for designing and supporting some of the coolest products including 3D video and Videon's next generation Blu-ray player solutions currently under development.

      Hardware Design Internship
Support an outstanding team of hardware engineers with digital and analog design, including: schematic design and verification, PCB verification, programmable logic design and verification. Lab duties include troubleshooting at board and system level using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters and other analyzers. Schematic entry and programmable logic synthesis experience a plus. Mechanical responsibilities will include cable assembly, test jig design and construction, and component clearance analysis. 

     Quality Assurance (Testing) Internship
Support our impressive Design Quality Group with hardware and software testing activities, including: execute test plans and assist with qualifying releases, setup configuration to test and reproduce issues, design and develop test tools and templates, maintain test documents and enhance automation test scripts. Must have a keen interest in learning test specifications to report defects accurately and have the ability to follow defined release/development process, must be detail oriented with good verbal and writing skills, have organizational skills to multitask and complete tasks on time. Operating knowledge of oscilloscopes and multi-meters required, with ability to add/edit Wiki and HTML pages, Linux commands for daily usage, and programming experience to develop user interfaces for internal use. DVD player and audio receiver operation is mandatory. Prior knowledge of Labview, audio/video formats used in digital space, experience in testing, Blu-ray player operation, version control/defect tracking tools, and ability to develop Make files and test harnesses is a plus. 

To be considered for any of our internship positions, you must maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher, be in good standing at the University, have completed your sophomore year in a B.S. or M.S. degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
