Videon Central Receives the '2009 Manufacturing Business of the Year' Award from MACP

Videon Central is proud to be the recipient of the Manufacturer’s Association of Central Pennsylvania award for the medium-size “Manufacturing Business of the Year.”

From inception, Videon has been a pioneer in digital video. As a leading developer of Blu-ray Disc, HD-DVD & HDTVs for the consumer electronic market, Videon partners with semiconductor firms, including Broadcom and Intel, to create products for consumer electronic providers such as Samsung and LG. 

Videon’s President, Todd Erdley, noted that currently over 2 million Blu-ray players have been shipped with Videon’s software as the key component for these devices. The projection for the next year estimates that over 10 million people worldwide will be using Videon’s software in their Blu-ray players.
