State College, PA – Videon Central, Inc., a market leader in the design and development of digital video technologies and middleware for consumer electronics and in-flight entertainment, has announced the creation of a new line of product pre-qualification services. These services are intended for firms that, like Videon, must demonstrate that their designs meet or exceed environmental and other standards imposed by the FCC and other regulatory agencies.

Videon's Compliance Lab Services (CLS) group will provide access to Videon's state of the art testing facilities and custom support for pre-qualification testing for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) and Temperature/Humidity Testing using Videon’s own EMI chamber, HALT/HASS and temperature chambers.

Videon Central will assist manufacturers in the design and execution of customized test solutions enabling them to minimize time and expense associated with formal qualification activity. Our technicians and engineers will help design and implement test regimens that can reduce product time to market, improve first pass yields and minimize component and product infant mortality issues.
